Mental Health Association of Morgan County is dedicated to support families experiencing mental health issues, educate our community about mental health concerns, and advocate for mental health awareness. Over the last 50+ years, the Mental Health Association has developed many programs and services related to the mission of promoting mental health, preventing mental illness, and advocating for the improved care and treatment of the mentally ill. Their history includes many different grants and fundraisers that support our partnerships with other agencies to provide the education and support of mental health issues necessary to improve the quality of lives within our community.
The Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama, Inc. is a public, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has provided psychiatric and mental health services to Lawrence, Limestone, and Morgan counties, Alabama since 1967. Services provided by the Mental Health Center include psychiatric assessment, medication prescription, outpatient counseling, substance abuse treatment, case management, housing, transportation, prevention and other services that serve the mental health needs of the community.
